Twelve thousand kilometres is closer than it feels.
Auckland to London:18,300 km, 24 to 27 hours.Via Singapore, Doha,Dubai or Los Angeles.
Kids in London. Parents in Munich. Grandchildren in Vancouver. When family lives across the world, travelling to them shouldn’t be a project you dread every year.
Book a 30-minute introductionWhat we actually do for family trips.
The long haul itself.Seating for three generations.Somewhere near, not with.A holiday inside the visit.
The long haul itself
Via Singapore, Doha, Dubai, Los Angeles, or direct. Each is kinder on a different body and a different budget, and the answer changes with the season and with who is flying. A stopover of one night turns a thirty-hour ordeal into two manageable legs; we will tell you when it is worth it and when it only adds a hotel.
Multi-generation seating
Grandparents, adult children and a toddler on the same flight, without a fight over the bassinet row. Who sits by the aisle, who needs the extra legroom, who should not be near the galley. Booked as one party, so nobody is split across the cabin at the gate.

Staying near, not with
A serviced apartment or hotel within walking distance of the family, so you have somewhere to retreat, a kitchen of your own, and a bed nobody else needs. Visits go better when everybody gets to close a door.
A holiday inside the visit
A week somewhere warm on the way home. A road trip through Bavaria with the grandchildren in the back. Three nights in a city you have always meant to see, between the family weeks. The visit is the reason; it does not have to be the whole trip.
Common shapes.
Illustrative.Every trip is built from scratch.
Christmas in the UK
Three weeks with the kids in London, then two weeks in Portugal to thaw before the flight home.
A new grandchild in Canada
Six weeks in Vancouver, with a stopover in Hawai‘i on the way out so nobody arrives wrecked.
Adult kids in Singapore
A long weekend every quarter, same hotel, same seats, booked for the year in one afternoon.
When it goes wrong.
What we do.What you call. What gets rebooked.
A cancelled leg in Doha at midnight with eighty-year-old parents is the scenario this page is for. You call us, not a queue. We already know the alternates, because we checked them when we booked. We rebook the flights, sort the hotel for the night, tell the family at the other end when to expect you, and stay on the line until you are through the door.
Also for Australians.
Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth.
None of this is New Zealand-only. From Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane or Perth the routings differ and the logic is the same: the long haul, the seats, the place to stay near the family, and a real holiday folded in.
