Terms.

These are the terms on which Farflung, a trading name of XOR Limited (“we”), plans and books travel for you. Nothing here removes rights you have under New Zealand’s Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or Fair Trading Act 1986.

The introduction call

The 30-minute introduction call is free and places no obligation on either side.

Fees

Our fee is agreed with you in writing before planning begins and is set out in the proposal. Where we also receive a commission from a supplier for a booking, we say so.

Bookings

We book flights, accommodation and experiences on your behalf as your agent. Each booking is a contract between you and the supplier and is subject to that supplier’s terms, including their rules on changes, cancellations and refunds, which we send you before you confirm. Where a supplier changes or cancels a service, we help you rebook or claim what the supplier’s terms allow; we cannot promise an outcome the supplier does not offer.

Payment

Supplier payments are due when the supplier requires them, which for flights is usually at the time of booking. Our fee is invoiced as agreed in the proposal. Prices quoted in foreign currencies can move until paid.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for the accuracy of the names, dates and details you give us, for valid passports and visas for every traveller, for meeting health and entry requirements, and for travel insurance, which we strongly recommend for every trip we plan.

Liability

We take care in what we recommend and book. To the extent New Zealand law allows, our liability to you for anything arising from our planning and booking services is limited to the fee you paid us for the trip concerned. We are not liable for the acts or omissions of suppliers, or for events outside our control.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of New Zealand and its courts.
